Anubias Barteri var. barter from West Africa is an undemanding plant. It grows somewhat larger than Anubias Barteri var. nana but is
grown in the same conditions.
Anubias barteri var. nana is a small , attractive plants which thrives in all conditions. It originates from Cameroon and will reach 5-10cm height.
This Lilaeopsis species demands less light than Lilaeopsis brasiliensis, and stays also low (5-10cm ” lawn”). Tropica’s founder
Holger Windelov, found it on Mauritius in 1992.
Nesaea crassicaulis from Africa is a beautiful and highly recommended aquarium plant, although it has high demands for light. It has red-brown, cognac-coloured leaves. Stems become 30-50cm and 8-15cm wide.
